The setting: A cozy corner in Cedar Rapids' Czech Village where candy dreams come alive and where every soda fizz and ice cream scoop has an enticing story to tell. Yep, that's Sweet Mercantile for you! More than just a confectionary haven (or heaven, if you’ve got a true sweet tooth), it's where memories are made (and desserts are devoured!).
While Sweet Mercantile was already a local gem, their social media profiles needed a bit of sparkle so that people in the area really knew what their whole vibe was. Well, we took on the challenge, rolled up our sleeves, and got our creative juices flowing.
We tracked the tasty tactics, and through the entire month of September found some incredible results:

So, how did we do it? Well, that’s a trade secret. Just kidding, we love to share what we do!
In their particular case, we simply let Sweet Mercantile's charm shine through. We shared drool-worthy snaps shots and video of their desserts—especially the process to make them, gave folks a sneak peek behind the soda bar, and chatted about the Czech Village vibes. Plus it helps that they have an amazing staff and tons of cool merchandise and nostalgic candy to showcase. It was all about keeping it real, relatable, and oh-so-sweet.
